Politics By BJP During Pandemic
With the major increase in cases of covid-19 in India and heavy devastation taking place, Amit Shah after being invisible from the media radars is back in his form days after partisan parties stalled their political activities due to the pandemic.
Amit Shah conducted two "Virtual Rallies" on Sunday and Monday for the states of Bihar and Orissa. He stated that these rallies do not have a Political agenda in spite of the fact that he targeted Mamata Banerjee's Government and claimed that they will win the Bihar elections by two thirds of majority. Also he said that these rallies were only meant for the people to connect with the "Aatmanirbhar Bharat Campaign". You have to understand the chronology.
The oposition party "Rashtriya Janata Dal" targeted the Union Minister by saying that these rallies will only demotivate the Bihar citizens and only celebrates the devastation caused due to the lockdown. They showed their denial by doing a "thaali bajao" rally.
In India , lockdown has completely failed as the management was utterly poor and now the government has left the people (migrants) on their own. But Amit Shah, as usual , denied all these accusations and insted of answering the people he counter-attacked the opposition by asking them what role did they play for the situation of migrants.
Yes , it happens here.
In both these rallies, Amit Shah deflected all the topics related to pandemic , he actively boasted by article 370 in Kashmir, Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, Triple Talaq and the controversial CAA act and claimed them as Modi's achievements. Ironically , even today there is no internet connection in Kashmir.
Tell me , which of the given achievements inprove our country's situation?
I know you must have heard BJP leaders urging people not to politicise the situation, but since Amit Shah sounds the bugle for Bihar elections, was this a sensible move from his side? With people dying due to starvation and people dying in trains and immigrants travelling on foot from one state to other. Akhilesh Singh claimed that around Rs.100 cr, was spent in these rallies , so this figure actually kind of demotivates since if they can spend money on these rallies and such amount like these, in my opinion, they should have sent this money as on-hand cash for the people in need like the migrants, houseless people who actually did believe in this governmernt .
But all of us know this is BJP and all they care about is their government and themselves as we have seen in this instance.
