FAKE NEWS : A Different Kind Of Pandemic

Most of the people in this world lovee to hear gossip about things and people around us, but what if these gossips and rumours turn into something dangerous?

The "something dangerous" part is already in existence which are " Fake News". Especially in times of crisis like these the rate of spread of this virus is actually more than that of Coronavirus. Recently in a media briefing the WHO director stated that, " We are not only fighting a pandemic pan also an infodemic."

Infodemic is basically the outburst of misleading information which is often triggered by the support of political leaders, world leaders, celebrities , journalist , and other prominent citizens.

And ironically we have a number of people who love to trigger such information.

Let's start with the president of the strongest country "Donald Trump" who recently told the world to inject disinfectants in our body in order to cure Coronavirus and also told that usage of anti malaria drug which is hydroxychloroquinine has been approved by the FDA as a cure for Covid-19. After this when a  havoc was created due to these claims , and FDA declined his statement , White House had to publish a statement to do repairs , stating," He was just being sarcastic!" Ha!

So basically , he is Sadhvi Pragya of USA, for the people don't know who Sadhvi Pragya is, she is Member of the parliament from Bhopal, India.

She claimed that she cured her cancer by mixture of cow dung and cow urine , so she basically slapped hard on the scientists and doctors and medical institutions who are spending billions of money on finding a cure to this terminal disease.

So you see there is no deficiency of people like these in the world.

How to forget China a.k.a Cersei Lannister, if you want to know why I call China that, read my first blog. So before covid-19 pandemic, there were several protests going on in Hong Kong which was started at a slow rate . But when these protests caught fire, China tried to suppress, this information for spreading in the whole world but it did. These protests caught huge support from the whole world, so China's government started funded twitter accounts against these protestors claiming them to be cockroaches, terrorists,anti-nationals and what not!

So , fake news is used as a weapon by powerful people to manipulate the citizens. Advice: Never fall for them.
